Potty training your dog or can be difficult. Things to consider when you are starting the potty training:
- Have adequate floor protection while training is taking place. If you do not protect the floor your pet will have an accident which may result in damaged flooring if you do not clean up the floor quickly enough.
- If you notice a stain or accident quickly spray a hydrogen peroxide based cleaning solution and use paper towel to wipe up the excess.
- Check on your pet at least every three hours to ensure your pet is on track.
- Consider installing a doggie door to allow access outside while you are not home if you have a backyard to encourage the pet to go outside.
